A long-term durability test is one of the more recent studies they conducted to see how well windows perform after years of being installed. For this, the installers removed 10 double-hung windows from a Minnesota customer’s home – 20 years after they were first installed. On-site testing and extensive laboratory work were done to obtain findings.

According to the study, the windows were found to still be strong and easily operable as the day they were first installed. Even when they were exposed to brutal winters and humid summers, the units didn’t show signs of cracking, peeling and chipping. The study proved, once and for all, that Renewal by Andersen windows perform well with age.
