Apart from that, it’s also warranted to not develop any material change in appearance under normal circumstances as a result of manufacturing defects for 20 years from the original installation date. In the event the glass fails due to manufacturing, material or workmanship defects, Renewal by Andersen will likewise repair or replace the glass within its limited warranty period.
Transferable Limited Warranty on Installation
Surprisingly enough, your Renewal by Andersen window also comes with a transferable limited warranty. The installation of your product by an authorized Renewal by Andersen contractor is warranted for a period of two years from the original date of installation. At this time, should your product fail as a result of improper installation the first time around, Renewal by Andersen will rectify the issue at no cost to you.
Transferable Limited Warranty on Components Other Than Glass
On the other hand, the non-glass portions of your window like the weatherstripping, handles, operators, locks, balance systems and hinges are warranted to be free of defects in manufacturing, materials and workmanship for a period of 10 years from its original installation date. Should these components fail, Renewal by Andersen will provide the necessary replacements or perform the needed repairs within the limited warranty period.
